Cost: $700 per hunter per day
During duck hunting season, bird shooting in New Zealand offers a huge range of species, including:
- Mallard, paradise, grey and shoveler duck
- Black swan
- Canadian goose
There is a bag limit of 25 birds. The New Zealand bird shooting season starts the first Saturday in May and goes until the end of July. We hunt mainly over ponds, dams and grain fields.
